Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be preapproved before applying?
No. You can begin with a consultation. If you haven’t spoken with a lender yet, I can introduce you to a mortgage professional who can evaluate your financing options.
What if I’m unsure whether my credit is ready?
That’s a common starting point. A lender reviews credit as part of mortgage eligibility. Together, we’ll identify the questions to bring to that conversation and the next steps to focus on.
How do I find out what I may be able to afford?
A lender evaluates your income, debts, credit, and available funds to discuss financing options. I’ll help you think through a comfortable monthly budget and the costs of ownership beyond the mortgage.
What if I have not saved enough yet?
You can still start. Down payments and upfront costs vary by loan type and situation. We’ll talk through what to plan for, and your lender can explain your options, including whether any assistance programs may apply.
Does applying guarantee a spot?
No. Applying starts the conversation. Acceptance into the program requires a conversation with me and confirmation of your participation.
Does this program guarantee I will buy a home within six months?
No. The program provides education, preparation, guidance, and a personalized buying strategy. Lender approval, property availability, and your individual circumstances affect the timeline, and a purchase is not guaranteed.
